Sustainable Packaging Director

Job Summary

Seeking a Sustainable Packaging Director, the full-time remote position will manage multiple packaging-related projects, guide clients in sustainable EPR strategies, and provide technical expertise to enhance sustainability initiatives across diverse industries.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and sponsor multiple client projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with sustainability objectives
• Advise clients on integrating sustainability into EPR planning and packaging design, including material selection and end-of-life considerations
• Develop executive-ready reports and presentations that translate complex data into actionable insights for C-suite executives

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Product Design, Environmental Science, or related field; graduate degree preferred
• 8+ years of professional experience in packaging engineering or a related field
• In-depth understanding of packaging materials and US and Global EPR regulations
• Advanced analytical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Alteryx, Tableau, NetSuite, and PowerBI preferred
• Strong client and project management skills with a focus on delivering projects to client expectations
