SVP of Agency Underwriting

Job Summary

SVP of Agency Underwriting is a full-time remote position responsible for overseeing the Agency Underwriting Department's daily operations, providing solutions for loan escalations, and assisting with special projects as directed by management.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite conventional and government loans while maintaining service level agreements
• Provide guidance and solutions for complex underwriting scenarios and escalations
• Assist in special projects and training as designated by management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• 5+ years of Mortgage Underwriting Experience with agency guideline knowledge
• 3+ years of Underwriting management experience
• Direct Endorsement status from HUD and/or SAR authority from VA preferred
• Extensive understanding of FHA, VA, and conventional loan guidelines
