Swing Dispatcher

Job Summary

To ensure seamless operations within the Dispatch Center, the full-time remote Swing Dispatcher will manage staffing coverage, provide training support for new hires, and handle escalations while optimizing route efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Area Dispatch Supervisor in overseeing the Centralized Dispatch Center and ensure adequate staffing coverage
• Manage cross-training and onboarding processes for new hires while actively participating in operational improvements
• Collaborate with dispatchers and routers to resolve route coverage issues and optimize efficiency for both same-day and next-day assignments

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D (accredited)
• At least 2 years of previous dispatching experience
• Experience in routing and logistics is preferred
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Ability to work flexible hours between 2am - 6:30pm ET
