System Administration Technologist

Job Summary

Responsible for the deployments and maintenance of major enterprise systems, the full-time remote System Administration Technologist will manage system outages, provide technical support, and ensure system integrity and availability.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the initial and escalation resource for System Administration team issues
• Perform in-depth system maintenance, monitoring, and problem determination, including system backup and recovery operations
• Develop technical support documentation and assist with system administration research as assigned

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Computer Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of applicable experience in a technology environment
• In-depth knowledge of one or more systems with the ability to develop capabilities on non-primary systems
