System Administrator

Job Summary

To support Air Force Financial Systems Operations, the full-time System Administrator will manage and maintain a hybrid infrastructure environment, ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of applications both remotely and on-site at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

Key responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining, and configuring software and systems, ensuring integrity and performance
• Managing AWS cloud environments, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Beanstalk deployments
• Providing second-tier support for PC, server, and hardware issues, resolving problems beyond first-tier help desk capabilities

Required qualifications

• US Citizenship
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems
• Security+ Certification or higher
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in system administration, particularly with RedHat Linux and AWS
• Proven experience in managing servers, cloud environments, and enterprise tools
