System Administrator

Job Summary

Motivated candidates will find a full-time remote opportunity as a System Administrator, responsible for the installation, configuration, and management of VMware vSphere, along with storage management and performance monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Manage VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter Server) installation, configuration, and administration
• Oversee SAN and traditional storage management, including virtual machine provisioning and lifecycle management
• Conduct performance monitoring and capacity planning, ensuring effective backup and recovery processes

Required qualifications

• Experience with Core VMware technologies
• Understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity planning
• Knowledge of security best practices and hardening procedures
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Ansible
• Experience with monitoring tools and patch management
