System Administrator
Job Summary
Working remotely on a long-term contract basis, the System Administrator will deploy new technologies, troubleshoot server issues, and maintain a secure systems environment while supporting user needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Deploys, installs, configures, and maintains PC/server operating systems and related hardware
- Troubleshoots server problems reported by users and provides solutions
- Researches and recommends software and hardware products while maintaining secure web access and messaging services
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5-7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems administration
- Direct experience with configuring and maintaining Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows Server administration
- Relevant certifications in operating systems or MFT platforms are preferred
