System Administrator - VMware
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the System Administrator - VMware will manage the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of VMware infrastructure and support servers and applications within a high-performance data center environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of VMware infrastructure including vSphere vCenter and ESXi hypervisor hosts
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance for VMware ESXi hosts and related hardware, including Cisco UCS equipment
- Implement and routinely test disaster recovery plans while maintaining documentation and responding to outages
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Experience with VMware Virtualization & Infrastructure Management
- Knowledge of Cisco UCS & Enterprise Hardware Administration
- Proficiency in Windows & Linux Server Administration
- Familiarity with disaster recovery and IT operations (ITSM)
