Job Summary
Supporting the U.S. Geological Survey's national geospatial mission, the full-time remote System Architect for Dashboarding will develop and manage dashboards and reporting solutions, automate processes, and maintain technical environments for trusted geospatial data and services.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and manage dashboards and reporting solutions to provide actionable insights on system and infrastructure performance
- Automate and manage Linux and Windows environments to streamline processes and improve system reliability
- Monitor performance and operational health of infrastructure using enterprise monitoring and visualization platforms
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience
- Experience administering Linux and Windows operating systems in enterprise environments
- Proficiency in developing dashboards and metrics using monitoring and visualization platforms
- Experience with scripting and automation tools for system administration and configuration management
- Familiarity with monitoring technologies such as Grafana, Zabbix, or Prometheus
