System Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a System Design Engineer for a remote long-term contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design fluid systems from requirements development through final design and commissioning
• Prepare system level engineering documentation and support design reviews
• Interface with various design disciplines to develop system design and performance criteria

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear Engineering, or related discipline with 5+ years of direct experience
• Experience with piping systems and ability to read and draw P&IDs
• Strong understanding of design codes (ASME, BPVC, API)
• Familiarity with safety classifications of systems and quality standards in design activities
• Self-starter with the ability to handle projects with competing objectives and design constraints
