System Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a System Design Engineer, Sodium Cover Gas System.

Key Responsibilities

• Design fluid systems from requirements development to final design and commissioning
• Oversee suppliers during the development, fabrication, and testing of gas processing equipment
• Prepare and review system level engineering documentation and support design reviews

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear Engineering, or related discipline
• 5+ years of direct experience with mechanical systems
• Experience with piping systems and ability to read and draw P&IDs
• Strong understanding of design codes (ASME, BPVC, API)
• Experience working to quality standards such as ASME NQA-1 or ISO 9001
