System Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a System Design Engineer, Sodium Cover Gas System.

Key Responsibilities

• Design fluid systems from requirements development through final design and commissioning
• Oversee suppliers during the development, fabrication, and testing of gas processing and monitoring equipment
• Prepare system-level engineering documentation and support design reviews

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear Engineering, or related discipline with 5+ years of direct experience
• Experience with piping systems and the ability to read and draw P&IDs
• Strong understanding of design codes such as ASME and BPVC
• Familiarity with safety classifications and quality standards in design activities
• Ability to coordinate with minimal direction and handle projects with competing objectives
