System Design Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a System Design Specialist to manage the technical aspects of security system installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement system designs based on customer requirements and specifications
• Use design tools such as AutoCAD and Visio to produce technical documents and installation guides
• Generate quotes and establish the scope of work for various security system projects

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering and design of security systems
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and relevant technical software
• Formal technical training or equivalent working experience in security systems
• Preferred NICET and other technical certifications related to life safety systems
