System Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a System Engineer responsible for implementing, supporting, maintaining, and managing IT services.

Key Responsibilities

• Update, install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot multi-site Linux/UNIX and Windows based application environments
• Work with clients to resolve issues, schedule updates, and provide guidance on system level best practices
• Support enterprise database systems and network/storage environments, including SAN and firewalls

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
• At least 1 year of system administration work experience with SQL Server enterprise database systems
• Working knowledge of IT standards, concepts, best practices, and procedures
• Ability to prioritize workload to focus on client priorities in a time-sensitive environment
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills
