System Engineer - Patch Management

Job Summary

Leading a team of IT professionals, the full-time System Engineer - Patch Management will oversee the execution of the enterprise patch management strategy, ensuring timely updates and compliance to reduce vulnerabilities, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the testing, validation, and deployment of patches across systems and applications
• Prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities using enterprise patch management tools and automation
• Monitor and report on patch compliance status, managing executive-level reporting and dashboards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• 12 years of IT operations, security, or infrastructure experience, including 8 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of patch management and vulnerability remediation
• Deep understanding of patch management and IT automation tools such as WSUS, BigFix, and Ansible
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and change management
