System Operations Engineer

Job Summary

System Operations Engineer, responsible for evolving DevOps and Production Operations practices in a full-time remote position, ensuring the delivery and monitoring of mission-critical software for public safety agencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce diagrams, documentation, and implementation plans for operational systems and processes
• Develop automation for software delivery and Infrastructure as Code to support the environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide updates to senior management

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps/Cloud Operations, preferably in SaaS or technology-driven organizations
• Experience writing Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation Templates
• Strong understanding of Amazon Web Services and containerization technologies
