System Safety Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a System Safety Engineer, Operations & Fleet Response.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead safety analyses, assess risks, and develop safety requirements and mitigations
• Participate in design reviews to ensure safety requirements are effectively addressed
• Provide guidance on safety standards and evaluate the effectiveness of risk control strategies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Mechatronics/Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
• 10+ years of relevant engineering work experience, including 5 years in System Safety engineering
• Strong technical project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
• Proficient in safety analyses and applying Systems Engineering principles
• Extensive background in risk management and stakeholder alignment
