System Safety Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a System Safety Engineer - Onboard SW / SOTIF.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead safety analyses, identify hazards, assess risks, and support safety requirements and mitigations
• Participate in product design reviews to ensure effective safety mitigations are implemented
• Provide guidance on safety standards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
• 10+ years of relevant safety engineering experience, including 5 years in System Safety engineering
• Proficient in inductive/deductive safety analyses and Systems Engineering principles
• Extensive background in risk management and stakeholder alignment
• Experience in coding and unit testing in C, C++, and Python
