System Software Engineer
Job Summary
Working full-time in Chelmsford, MA, the System Software Engineer will develop next-generation controls software, automate testing processes, and support manufacturing efforts for advanced vacuum systems.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and verify controls software for vacuum systems and components
- Streamline and automate configuration, calibration, and testing of vacuum components
- Support manufacturing and maintain process documentation
Required qualifications
- BSEE/BSCS or similar with at least 5 years of experience, or MSEE/MSCS with a minimum of 3 years of experience
- Minimum of 2 years of programming experience in C++ or C#
- Experience with electro-mechanical systems is preferred
- Familiarity with EtherCAT, gRPC, Python, PLCs, and RTOS is advantageous
- Related coursework or experience in controls, dynamic systems, or robotics
