System Software Engineering Lead

Job Summary

To support the development of future GPU driver software, the full-time System Software Engineering Lead will collaborate with a small team to create kernel mode Linux drivers, engage with the Linux kernel community, and influence the architecture of NVIDIA GPU kernel software.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a new kernel mode Linux driver for the latest NVIDIA GPUs
• Collaborate with the Linux kernel community to create and submit patches for NVIDIA hardware
• Shape the architecture and design of NVIDIA GPU kernel software for effective integration upstream

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience as a software developer
• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with device drivers and kernel mode software development
• Direct experience in Linux kernel development with a proven track record of upstreaming patches
