Systems Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a System Administrator, Contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the patching lifecycle and vulnerability remediation for Windows and Linux environments
• Provision and maintain resources within Google Cloud Platform while optimizing cost and performance
• Automate tasks and manage machine image builds using Infrastructure as Code methodologies

Required Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server (2016-2022) and Linux Distros
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform, with relevant certifications preferred
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and Packer
• Experience with patching tools such as WSUS, SCCM, or Linux-native tools
• Strong understanding of security practices related to CVEs and hardening benchmarks
