Systems Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Systems Administrator for a remote contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot Windows Server operating systems supporting Active Directory, DNS, and Certificate Authorities
• Manage and maintain Active Directory systems and related services
• Apply security controls and hardening based on NIST and DISA guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 6+ years of experience
• Proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, Certificate Management, and ADFS
• Experience scripting with PowerShell
• Hands-on support experience with Windows OS (Tier II & III support)
• Knowledge of security hardening, patch management, and system performance tuning
