Systems Administrator

Job Summary

Providing technical support for applications, services, and servers, the full-time Systems Administrator will manage backups, diagnose and repair systems, and maintain cloud environments, all while working remotely within designated core hours.

Key responsibilities

• Manage application and server backups across enterprise and cloud environments (AWS and Azure)
• Diagnose, replace, upgrade, and repair applications, services, and servers for Windows and Linux
• Create and maintain training documentation while providing high-quality support to university customers

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in application and server maintenance, supporting service desk staff using enterprise tools
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, Business Administration, or relevant experience (preferred)
• Technical certifications related to systems administration (preferred)
• Experience with cloud hosting instance management (AWS and Azure)
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting purposes
