Systems Administrator

Job Summary

To support a progressive membership organization, the full-time remote Systems Administrator will oversee, maintain, and secure core IT infrastructure, manage both on-premises and cloud environments, and ensure server and network reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain various operating systems and software applications to ensure optimal performance
• Administer the Microsoft 365 environment and manage AWS infrastructure components for hybrid cloud connectivity
• Support and troubleshoot business applications, ensuring security patches and updates are performed during maintenance windows

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience
• 3+ years of experience in systems administration with Windows, Linux, and cloud environments
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux servers
• Basic knowledge of AWS infrastructure and Microsoft 365 administration
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory and networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
