Systems Administrator

Job Summary

To support a dynamic infrastructure team, the full-time remote Systems Administrator will manage and maintain hybrid infrastructure across colocation data centers and cloud environments, focusing on Windows Server administration, virtual machine lifecycle management, and infrastructure automation.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows Server environments, including provisioning, configuration, and operational support
• Manage virtual machine lifecycles across on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring operational health and resource management
• Implement automation solutions for operational processes and respond to infrastructure alerts and incidents, performing root cause analysis

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3-6 years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure operations, or cloud operations
• Strong hands-on experience administering Windows Server environments and managing virtual machine infrastructure
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Experience with Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools
