Systems Administrator Cyber Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support enterprise IT and cybersecurity infrastructure, the contract Systems Administrator Cyber Security Engineer will manage day-to-day operations, maintain Linux and Windows environments, and deploy cybersecurity applications while working remotely from the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Support maintenance of IT and IT Security tools and systems, including patch management and vulnerability remediation
• Collaborate with the ACI team to deploy and maintain systems, ensuring stability and compliance with security standards
• Monitor daily ticket queues, respond to audits, and contribute to internal engineering documentation

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or related fields, with knowledge of enterprise security best practices
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows operating systems, including troubleshooting and patching
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, specifically Kanban workflow
• Basic scripting skills in languages such as Ansible, Python, or PowerShell for task automation
