Systems Administrator I

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Systems Administrator I will manage and troubleshoot Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems while providing Tier 1-2 technical support and ensuring the reliability and security of IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot operating systems, hardware, software, and virtual machines
• Provide technical support for hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues to internal employees
• Monitor systems and networks to maintain security, uptime, and overall system performance

Required qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in an IT Support, Systems Administrator, or similar infrastructure role
• Experience administering Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems with knowledge of networking fundamentals
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation tasks
• Experience supporting virtualization technologies and cloud platforms like AWS and/or Azure
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a willingness to learn new technologies
