Systems Administrator II

Job Summary

To support a federal agency, the full-time salaried Systems Administrator II will troubleshoot and repair IT systems, assist with preventative maintenance, and provide technical support to users while ensuring system integrity and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair various physical IT systems
• Assist with preventative maintenance and ensure backups and updates are performed
• Install software releases and system upgrades, evaluating and resolving software-related issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field with 2-4 years of related experience, or 6 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
• Experience in Windows System Administration
• Customer service experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft-based PC and server operating systems (Windows 10 and Server 2012 or higher)
• Working knowledge of VMWare and remote solution software
