Systems Administrator II

Job Summary

To support a federal agency's IT needs, the full-time salaried Systems Administrator II will troubleshoot and repair physical IT systems, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure system backups and updates are executed effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair various physical IT systems
• Assist in preventative maintenance and ensure backups and updates of key systems
• Provide technical support and guidance to users while maintaining system integrity

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field with 2-4 years of experience, or 6 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
• Experience in Windows System Administration
• Customer service experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft-based operating systems (Windows 10 and Server 2012 or higher)
• Working knowledge of VMWare and remote solution software
