Systems Administrator III

Job Summary

Supporting a major federal program, the remote contract Systems Administrator III (Capacity Manager) will analyze infrastructure trends, forecast capacity needs, and ensure critical enterprise systems remain scalable and high-performing.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure enterprise infrastructure and applications meet capacity, performance, and availability requirements
• Analyze utilization trends and develop capacity plans aligned with organizational priorities
• Create dashboards and reports to support SLA tracking and leadership decision-making

Required qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in capacity planning and performance management within enterprise IT environments
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, and network systems
• Familiarity with capacity management tools, methodologies, and ITIL best practices
• Experience with cloud and virtualization technologies
