Systems Administrator Lead

Job Summary

Covering the Second Shift (4PM-1AM EST), the full-time salaried Systems Administrator Lead will support, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize large-scale HPC and AI infrastructure remotely, serving as a senior technical escalation point for complex incidents affecting production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based HPC and AI compute environments, including large-scale GPU clusters
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, OS, and networking failures, performing root-cause analysis for recurring issues
• Lead incident response for critical infrastructure events, creating detailed timelines and corrective-action plans

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in Linux systems administration and HPC/AI infrastructure or data center operations
• Hands-on experience with enterprise server hardware and large-scale NVIDIA GPU infrastructure
• Strong understanding of server hardware, firmware, and networking, with experience diagnosing failures using logs
• Proficiency in automation/scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Ansible) and familiarity with observability platforms
