Systems Architect

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Systems Architect will serve as the Technical Lead, providing custom development services and managing the implementation of Enterprise Clinical Information Systems for NIH NIAID's NEAT project.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish system information requirements and design architecture for enterprise-wide information systems
• Ensure systems comply with open systems architecture standards and the Agency's enterprise architecture
• Provide daily supervision and direction to staff while integrating and developing Enterprise Clinical Informatics Systems

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in custom software development using frameworks such as TypeScript, Python, and JavaScript
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field
• Active Public Trust or higher security clearance
• Experience with API development and programming languages including Java and Node.js
• Expertise in system architecture design and knowledge of open system architecture standards
