Systems Automation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Systems Automation Engineer (U.S. Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated deployment and configuration management solutions across Windows and Linux infrastructures
• Implement and optimize automation workflows using tools such as Ansible, Python, PowerShell, Chef, and Puppet
• Provide support for system and application-specific issues while automating routine administration tasks

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• 7+ years of experience in systems engineering initiatives with a focus on automation and scalability
• Minimum of 3 years of experience developing and deploying automation/orchestration standards using relevant tools
• At least 3 years of hands-on administration experience with cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, Azure)
• Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server and major Linux distributions
