Systems Engineer

Job Summary

To support a hybrid infrastructure environment, the full-time contract-to-hire Systems Engineer will manage and maintain Windows-based systems, administer virtualization environments, and troubleshoot system performance issues while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support a hybrid infrastructure environment, including Azure and on-prem data centers
• Administer Windows-based systems and support a small Linux footprint, including virtualization with VMware
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support business-critical systems and collaborate on infrastructure improvements

Required qualifications

• Strong experience as a Systems Engineer or Sr. Systems Administrator in a hybrid environment
• Deep expertise in Windows Server administration and experience with VMware
• Working knowledge of Azure cloud services and broad infrastructure experience across networking, storage, OS, and telecom
• Experience managing or supporting Mac devices, specifically with Jamf
• Ability to operate as a generalist in a lean, high-impact team
