Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Systems Engineer II to build and operate infrastructure for software and hardware appliances.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software, quality, and release engineers to ensure proper software deployment
• Manage engineering code repositories, including branching and access
• Install and maintain hardware and networking infrastructure for the engineering team

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with Linux operating systems and enterprise server hardware
• 1+ years of experience in a datacenter or colocation facility
• Experience with virtualization infrastructures like VMware or KVM
• Knowledge of networking and application protocols such as TCP/IP and HTTP
• Direct experience with Git version control systems and hosting platforms
