Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Systems Engineer I.

Key Responsibilities

• Qualify and validate new hardware and firmware for internal products
• Assist in the design and validation of new hardware platforms
• Engage with hardware vendors for bug fixes and updates

Required Qualifications

• Technical Degree (BS Computer Science/Engineering) or equivalent practical experience
• Understanding of x86 server hardware architecture and subsystems
• Knowledge of configuration management best practices (e.g., Ansible, Chef)
• Comfortable in Linux (or Unix) operating systems
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python or Go)
