Systems Engineer

Job Summary

To support technical planning and system integration, the remote W2 hourly contract Systems Engineer will perform analyses across all system product levels, ensuring the conversion of customer requirements into effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analyses for total systems
• Perform functional analysis and requirements allocation to translate customer needs into hardware and software specifications
• Analyze system performance throughout all phases including design, fabrication, testing, and maintenance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 9-15 years of experience or a Master's degree with 7-13 years of experience in a relevant engineering field
• 6+ years of experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering
• Proficiency in cost modeling software such as SEER or TruePlanning
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
