Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Traffic Systems, the full-time Systems Engineer will engage in design, development, testing, and integration of systems while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Engage in systems engineering tasks related to the design, development, and implementation of air traffic control systems
• Assist the FAA in transitioning to enhanced air traffic control capabilities and develop technical standards and specifications
• Provide technical assistance in planning, requirements development, and system integration activities

Required qualifications

• Experience in requirements development within the federal government space
• Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience with a bachelor's degree in any engineering field for junior-level, 10 years for mid-level, and 15 years for senior-level positions
• Knowledge of performance modeling, analysis, and determination
• Experience with systems architectures supporting Enterprise Architecture
• Ability to pass an FAA background investigation and suitability determination
