Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a remote contract Systems Engineer to serve as the Ambulatory Patient Accounting Application Owner, responsible for aligning technology with operational goals, enhancing workflows, and managing the application roadmap to support streamlined Revenue Cycle operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the evaluation and implementation of ambulatory patient accounting features and solutions, ensuring alignment with current and future processes
• Define and maintain a product vision, roadmap, and growth strategy for ambulatory patient accounting, identifying opportunities for innovation
• Collaborate with various stakeholders and represent the ambulatory patient accounting domain in governance forums

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred
• Experience with implementing and supporting ambulatory patient accounting platforms/applications such as Athena or Ingenious Med
• Technical leadership experience in ambulatory patient accounting solutions, including design and planning
• Familiarity with Epic PB and/or ambulatory HIM and Coding solutions is a plus
• Understanding of fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures related to technical assignments
