Job Summary
Working in a hybrid role based in Boston, the full-time Systems Engineer will develop and modify EEG device systems, ensuring they meet application, business, customer, and regulatory requirements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain device development in accordance with quality management systems
- Document and analyze system and sub-system requirements, ensuring coherence and traceability throughout the product lifecycle
- Support risk management activities, including hazard analysis and mitigation strategies, while leading root cause analysis for production issues
Required qualifications
- BS in engineering or related field; 5+ years of professional engineering experience or 3+ years with an MS degree
- Experience leading cross-functional technical efforts across hardware, software, and firmware teams
- Proficiency in defining system architectures and developing technical specifications for multidisciplinary electromechanical systems
- Knowledge of requirements traceability, risk analysis, and verification & validation processes throughout the product development lifecycle
- Preferred experience with medical devices or regulated/safety-critical products and familiarity with design controls and risk management practices
