Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Working in a hybrid role based in Boston, the full-time Systems Engineer will develop and modify EEG device systems, ensuring they meet application, business, customer, and regulatory requirements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain device development in accordance with quality management systems
• Document and analyze system and sub-system requirements, ensuring coherence and traceability throughout the product lifecycle
• Support risk management activities, including hazard analysis and mitigation strategies, while leading root cause analysis for production issues

Required qualifications

• BS in engineering or related field; 5+ years of professional engineering experience or 3+ years with an MS degree
• Experience leading cross-functional technical efforts across hardware, software, and firmware teams
• Proficiency in defining system architectures and developing technical specifications for multidisciplinary electromechanical systems
• Knowledge of requirements traceability, risk analysis, and verification & validation processes throughout the product development lifecycle
• Preferred experience with medical devices or regulated/safety-critical products and familiarity with design controls and risk management practices
