Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a remote Systems Engineer, the full-time role will manage complex technical issues, support production systems, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of escalated customer problems.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a Tier 3 escalation point for complex customer and product issues, providing direct support as needed
- Own the technical triage and investigation of escalated issues, determining the appropriate path to resolution
- Collaborate with development teams to isolate bugs, validate fixes, and maintain ownership of escalated issues through resolution
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in technical troubleshooting, systems engineering, or escalation support, preferably for SaaS or cloud-based products
- Experience with backend languages such as Elixir, Rust, or C#
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows-based endpoints and networking
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
- Experience with scripting or automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies
