Systems Engineer Associate

Job Summary

Supporting the Underwriting teams, the full-time remote Systems Engineer Associate will assist in defining, designing, and developing system requirements while troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring optimal performance of computer systems.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain computer systems related to supported applications
• Perform software analysis, including requirements gathering and system design
• Document system design and application code while conducting application testing

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
• Familiarity with programming languages and web technologies (e.g., JavaScript, XML, .NET Framework, Python)
• Proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Exposure to database technologies (e.g., SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, MySQL)
• Strong critical thinking skills and a proactive mindset
