Systems Engineer Container Platform

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Systems Engineer (Container Platform) to support containerized application environments within a Federal cloud ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage container orchestration platforms such as AWS ECS, OpenShift, or Kubernetes
• Implement container security controls and manage the full container lifecycle including image versioning and updates
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions and establish configuration baselines for enterprise-scale environments

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in systems engineering, DevOps, or cloud engineering, with at least 3 years in container platforms
• Hands-on experience with container security controls and applying federal security requirements
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
