Systems Engineer, Data Platform

Job Summary

Owning the connective tissue across core business systems, the full-time remote Systems Engineer, Data Platform will manage integrations, data flows, and architecture to ensure reliable data movement and support critical processes like sales and payments.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and implement the next chapter of the system architecture
• Design and maintain reliable data flows and integrations across core systems and third-party tools
• Document architecture and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, data engineering, or related fields
• Strong Python experience for building integrations and backend services
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with modern data warehouses like Snowflake
• Prior ownership of operational databases such as AWS RDS or Postgres
• Experience with payment systems, particularly Stripe, and understanding of APIs and webhooks
