Job Summary

A company is looking for a Systems Engineer - Gateway, either in Austin or for remote work in the US.

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to the development of Gateway, a secure and performant method for organizations' devices to connect to the Internet
Work on high-performance global edge network data plane services
Contribute to the control plane API's that configure the edge services

Required Qualifications:

Programming experience in Rust, C++, or similar low-level languages
Strong grasp of networking protocols in Layers 3-7 of the OSI Model
Solid understanding of HTTP protocols, including experience with HTTP/2 and bonus for HTTP/3
Basic understanding of software security and encryption
Experience in designing and implementing secure and highly-available distributed systems
