Systems Engineer II
Job Summary
Working overnight from Wednesday to Sunday, the full-time salaried Systems Engineer II will serve as a primary technical resource, monitoring critical infrastructure, responding to incidents, and performing systems and network administration to ensure the stability and availability of customer services.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain continuous monitoring coverage and respond to critical alerts and service events during the assigned shift
- Perform proactive health checks of client infrastructure and coordinate incident response for outages and service interruptions
- Provide intermediate-level troubleshooting and configuration support for Windows Server, networking, Azure, and Microsoft 365 services
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure, systems, networking, cloud, or managed-services support
- Experience supporting 24x7 operations in an NOC, MSP, or alert-driven environment
- Demonstrated troubleshooting experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure
- Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions within documented authority
- Strong communication skills for interaction with technical teams and external customers during incidents
