Systems Engineer II
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Systems Engineer II will provide internal and external managed services infrastructure support, including monitoring, incident response, and systems administration, while working the 2nd shift from Wednesday to Sunday.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to infrastructure alerts and events while ensuring adherence to SLA targets
- Perform intermediate-level network troubleshooting and configuration, including support for Windows Server and Azure administration
- Act as a technical escalation point and participate in major incident response and change management activities
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure, systems, and networking
- 3-5 years of managed-services support experience preferred
- Experience supporting Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, and virtualization technologies
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation tools
- Proven ability to document and communicate incidents effectively
