Systems Engineer III

Job Summary

Responsible for planning and project management, the remote Systems Engineer III will provide advanced production support, lead technical support activities, and oversee system enhancements while mentoring less experienced associates.

Key responsibilities

• Leads technical support and service for software installation, testing, and complex problem resolution
• Coordinates system testing with application support staff to ensure functionality and performance
• Implements continuous improvements in systems and processes through automation and technical enhancements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of experience in systems engineering or programming, or a High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, AIX, and Mainframe systems
• Experience with server virtualization and configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and JavaScript
• Ability to be on call 24/7 for system support and issues
