Systems Engineer III
Job Summary
As a remote Systems Engineer III - Software Packager, the successful candidate will manage the packaging and deployment of desktop software for internal requests and enterprise-wide projects while providing guidance to support teams and creating custom reports using various deployment tools.
Key responsibilities
- Create and modify software installation packages for macOS and Windows applications, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards and security protocols
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather application packaging, testing, and deployment requirements while troubleshooting and resolving application-related issues
- Implement and maintain secure coding practices, ensuring all application packages conform to established security standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in systems engineering or programming, or High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience
- Experience in application packaging within a large enterprise environment
- Strong knowledge of macOS and Windows operating systems and extensive experience with application packaging tools
- Proficiency in PowerShell for automation tasks and SQL queries
- Experience troubleshooting desktop-related issues, including software and hardware problems
