Systems Engineer III - Automation
Job Summary
To enhance the Digital Workplace Technology organization, the remote Systems Engineer III - Automation will design and implement automation-driven desktop and endpoint management solutions, focusing on improving efficiency and reducing manual tasks for over 20,000 end users.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and design automated desktop management solutions and maintain system documentation and automation runbooks
- Identify opportunities for automation across endpoint management, including health monitoring and compliance enforcement
- Monitor and optimize desktop environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security while collaborating with operational teams
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in systems engineering or programming, or a High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Intune, and scripting/automation frameworks
- Experience in desktop operating systems management and infrastructure for at least 5 years
- Proficiency in PowerShell or equivalent scripting for automation
- Familiarity with Agile delivery environments and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
